KCIA, founded in 1970, is a long-standing vision of the California Institute of the Arts. We are a 'student-run' organization and as such, are ruggedly underfunded by comparison to most other college radio stations. As we are always looking to offer all of CalArts and KCIA listeners the best resources possible, we require a healthy budget to make this happen.
